Ocean-Themed tablecloth calms Kids' fears during medical tests
NCT ID NCT07201350
Summary
This study tested whether putting a colorful undersea-themed cover on the examination table could reduce fear and anxiety in children getting a painless heart test (ECG). Researchers compared 80 children, aged 3 to 12, with half using the special cover and half using a standard table. They measured the children's fear and anxiety levels using simple picture and behavior scales to see if the fun cover made the experience easier.
