Cord blood infusion aims to rescue cancer Patients' platelet counts

Summary
This study tests if a single infusion of umbilical cord blood can safely raise platelet levels in cancer patients whose platelets dropped due to chemotherapy or other cancer drugs. About 25 people aged 12 to 65 will receive the infusion and be monitored for 28 days. The goal is to reduce the need for platelet transfusions and bleeding complications.
