NCT ID NCT07212036

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 11, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study is testing whether using an ultrasound machine in the emergency room can be a good alternative to X-rays for diagnosing elbow fractures in children. Researchers will compare two groups of children with elbow pain: one group gets an ultrasound, and the other gets standard X-rays. They want to see if using ultrasound saves money, reduces radiation exposure, shortens the ER visit, and makes families happier with their care.
