First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a small ultrasound scanner helps nurses place an IV drip on the first try more often than the traditional touch-and-feel method. About 98 cancer patients receiving treatment will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The goal is to reduce discomfort and improve the treatment experience.
