Ultrasound-Guided numbing may reduce pain and opioid use in child circumcisions

Summary

This study tests whether using ultrasound to guide a numbing injection for circumcision works better than the standard method based on feel. About 216 boys under 18 will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if ultrasound reduces the need for strong painkillers and lowers complications.
