NCT ID NCT06706375
First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether using ultrasound to guide a numbing injection (penile block) before circumcision reduces pain and the need for strong painkillers compared to the standard method. About 216 boys under 18 will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage pain during this common surgery.
