New ultrasound technique aims to sharply reduce Kids' Post-Brain surgery pain
NCT ID NCT07411274
Summary
This study aims to find a better way to manage pain after brain tumor surgery in children. It will compare a standard method of numbing the scalp with a newer method that uses ultrasound to guide the numbing medicine more precisely. Researchers hope the ultrasound method will be safer and provide longer-lasting pain relief for the 74 children participating.
