New study tests ultrasound vs needles for Moms' back pain

NCT ID NCT07246369

Summary

This study compared two physical therapy treatments for women with long-lasting low back pain after a cesarean section. It tested whether therapeutic ultrasound or electrical dry needling was better at reducing pain and fear of movement. The trial involved 36 women who had their first child via C-section and had experienced back pain for over three months.
