Nurse practitioners get ultrasound training boost in new study

Summary

This study aims to create and test a point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) training course for nurse practitioners across different hospitals in Taiwan. 150 nurse practitioners will take the course and be tested on their knowledge and hands-on skills right after, and again 3 months later. The goal is to develop a standardized way to train and evaluate nurse practitioners in using ultrasound at the bedside.
