New training aims to put heart scans in the hands of more ER staff
NCT ID NCT07159269
Summary
This study is testing a new training program for advanced practice providers (like nurse practitioners) in the emergency department. The goal is to teach them how to use portable ultrasound machines to quickly scan a patient's heart. Researchers want to see if this training is practical and acceptable, and if it helps staff use the technology more often and accurately to potentially improve patient care.
