New scan could spot arthritis before It's too late
NCT ID NCT07188688
Summary
This study is testing a special type of ultrasound called shear-wave elastography to see if it can detect early tendon inflammation (enthesitis) in people with psoriasis, which is a key sign of developing psoriatic arthritis. Researchers will compare this new method to standard ultrasound and also check for a specific protein (SIRT2) in the blood to see if it relates to the scan results and disease activity. The goal is to find better tools for early diagnosis, which can help prevent long-term joint damage.
