Summary

This study looks at whether giving metoclopramide, with or without dexamethasone, can help empty the stomach faster in trauma patients needing emergency surgery. The goal is to reduce the risk of vomiting and breathing stomach contents into the lungs. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure stomach contents. Only one patient will be enrolled in this early-phase trial.
