Sound waves may boost arthritis shot power
NCT ID NCT07363876
Summary
This study is testing if using ultrasound therapy right before a standard steroid injection into an arthritic joint makes the treatment work better. Researchers want to see if this combination reduces pain and swelling more effectively and lasts longer. They are looking for 100 adults with arthritis in their arms or legs who haven't gotten enough relief from pills. The goal is to see if the ultrasound helps the steroid work better to control the arthritis.
