NCT ID NCT07198412

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving sedation before spinal anesthesia, guided by ultrasound, can lower the chance of back pain after surgery. Spinal anesthesia is common for lower body surgeries, but some people develop back pain afterward. Researchers will compare standard methods with ultrasound guidance and sedation in 180 adults to find a safer, more comfortable approach.
