First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at 150 adults with burn scars from explosions or drone attacks to see if early ultrasound images can predict which scars will stay painful for 3 to 6 months. Researchers will measure scar thickness, blood flow, and nerve involvement using ultrasound, then check pain levels over time. The goal is to find early warning signs so doctors can treat pain sooner.
