Nerve block offers new hope for debilitating migraines
NCT ID NCT06891118
Summary
This study tested whether a precise, ultrasound-guided injection to block a nerve cluster in the neck could help people with severe chronic migraines that don't respond to standard treatments. Researchers gave the injection to 42 adults and tracked their headache days, pain levels, and quality of life for six months. The goal was to see if this procedure could safely reduce the frequency and severity of their migraines.
