Can a simple scan catch deadly skin cancer spread sooner?

NCT ID NCT05956795

Summary

This study aimed to see if regular ultrasound scans of the neck could help find hidden cancer spread earlier in people with high-risk skin cancer on their head or neck. It planned to compare outcomes for patients getting these scans against past patients who did not. The goal was to learn if earlier detection could improve survival, but the study was stopped early.
