New combo therapy targets calf pain in arthritic knees
NCT ID NCT07256054
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special high-power ultrasound treatment to vibration massage could help reduce calf muscle tightness, pain, and improve knee function in people with knee osteoarthritis. It involved 60 patients aged 40-60, who were divided into groups to compare standard physical therapy, therapy with massage, and therapy with massage plus the new ultrasound. The goal was to see if the combined treatment offered better relief for common symptoms.
