Summary

This study tested whether using ultrasound to guide a breathing tube procedure (tracheostomy) in the ICU is safe and practical. 40 adult patients who needed a tracheostomy took part. The goal was to see if ultrasound could reduce complications like bleeding, wrong placement, or injury to nearby organs.
