First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a larger or smaller amount of fluid injected around the median nerve in the wrist can better relieve pain and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. The treatment, called hydrodissection, uses ultrasound guidance to separate the nerve from surrounding tissues. The study will enroll 35 adults with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome and measure pain levels using a standard pain scale.
