First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a bedside ultrasound to check a neck blood vessel can help doctors give the right amount of fluid-removing medicine to people hospitalized with severe heart failure. The goal is to reduce hospital readmissions within 30 days and protect the kidneys. About 588 adults will take part, and the approach is non-invasive and easy to use.
