Summary
This study tested whether an ultrasound-guided nerve block (external oblique intercostal plane block) can reduce pain after kidney surgery. 25 adults were randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or standard morphine. The goal was to see how long it took before patients needed extra pain medicine and to compare pain scores.
