Summary

This study looked at whether using ultrasound to guide a needle into the femoral artery (in the groin) helps doctors succeed on the first try in children. 149 children who needed this procedure for brain imaging or treatment took part. The goal was to see if ultrasound reduces the number of needle sticks needed.
