First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether applying ultrasound with a hyaluronic acid gel to the wrist could reduce carpal tunnel symptoms in women who developed the condition after hormone therapy for breast cancer. Sixty women were split into two groups: one received the ultrasound gel treatment plus standard care, and the other received only standard care. The goal was to see if the gel treatment improved nerve function, pain, grip strength, and daily hand function.
