New scan aims to predict cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT07319416
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of ultrasound scan can better track how well a targeted radiation therapy works for advanced neuroendocrine tumors. Researchers will scan 30 patients before, during, and after their radiation treatment to see if changes in blood flow to the tumor can predict who will respond best. The goal is to find a better way to monitor treatment effectiveness without relying solely on standard CT or PET scans.
