First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether ultrasound can accurately measure muscle activation caused by two types of stimulation: spinal cord stimulation and functional electrical stimulation. Researchers will compare these methods, alone and combined, in 30 healthy adults. The goal is to find a non-invasive way to guide rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury.
