First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding a specific type of ultrasound to standard physical therapy helps people with knee osteoarthritis feel less pain and stiffness. 46 adults with mild-to-moderate knee arthritis were split into groups to receive one of two ultrasound techniques or just physical therapy alone. The goal was to see which approach works best for everyday comfort and movement.
