Sound waves zap kidney stones without surgery
NCT ID NCT04796792
Summary
This study is testing a new ultrasound technology designed to help people pass kidney stones more easily. The device aims to break stones into tiny pieces and move them into a better position for natural passage, all without needing anesthesia. Researchers are recruiting 140 adults with small to medium-sized kidney stones to see if this approach is safe and effective.
