New ultrasound test could improve kidney blockage detection
NCT ID NCT05090800
Summary
This study tested whether a special dye used during an ultrasound scan could help doctors better see and measure blockages in the kidney's drainage system. Researchers compared scans of blocked and normal kidneys in 10 patients who were already scheduled for surgery to fix the blockage. The goal was to see if this imaging method could provide clearer information about the obstruction.
