Could a simple scan prevent hand surgery setbacks?
NCT ID NCT07238517
Summary
This study is testing whether using ultrasound scans after hand tendon surgery can help doctors spot healing problems earlier than a standard physical exam. Researchers will follow 50 adults who have had this surgery to see if the scans lead to faster treatment decisions and better long-term hand function. The goal is to see if making ultrasound a regular part of follow-up care improves recovery.
