Goggles that zap pain? ultrasound tested for fibromyalgia relief

NCT ID NCT07361328

Summary

This study is testing whether a new, non-invasive ultrasound device can help reduce pain and other symptoms of fibromyalgia. Researchers will enroll 50 adults with fibromyalgia who have not found relief from standard medications or physical therapy. Participants will wear a special headset for several treatment sessions to see if low-intensity ultrasound waves can ease their symptoms.
