New ultrasound tech aims to spot fatty liver disease
NCT ID NCT07268937
Summary
This study tested new software on standard ultrasound machines to see how well it measures fat in the liver. Researchers compared the results from different ultrasound devices to a specialized test called CAP, which is already used for this purpose. The goal was to see if the new, more widely available ultrasound method could be a good alternative for diagnosing fatty liver disease.
