Sound waves to steady shaking hands: new Non-Invasive trial

NCT ID NCT07484152

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive form of focused ultrasound can reduce shaking (tremor) in people with essential tremor. Twenty adults whose tremor is not well-controlled by medication will receive both a real and a fake (sham) ultrasound treatment in a random order to see if the real treatment helps. The goal is to see if this safe, non-surgical approach can ease tremor symptoms and improve quality of life.
