Sound waves target epilepsy in new brain trial
NCT ID NCT03868293
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a non-invasive, painless ultrasound treatment can help control seizures in adults with epilepsy that doesn't respond to medication. Participants will receive six ultrasound sessions over three weeks while tracking their seizures. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and tolerable, and if it reduces how often seizures happen.
