Could a simple ultrasound scan improve dental implant success?
NCT ID NCT06017193
Summary
This study is testing whether ultrasound imaging can be used to check how well a bone graft is healing after a tooth is pulled. Researchers will compare ultrasound images to standard methods in 140 adults who need a tooth extraction, bone graft, and later a dental implant. The goal is to see if ultrasound can provide a clearer picture of healing to help dentists decide the best time to place the implant.
