Sound waves to the brain may turn down pain

NCT ID NCT05145426

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive ultrasound device can temporarily change brain activity to help manage chronic pain. Participants will have brain scans to guide the device and then undergo controlled pain tests to measure any changes in their pain perception. The goal is to understand if this approach could lead to new treatments for people living with long-term pain.
