This study looked at whether ultrasound can accurately diagnose ankle injuries in children, compared to the gold standard MRI. It involved 97 children aged 5 to 17 with ankle trauma. The goal was to see if ultrasound could be a faster, simpler tool for diagnosis, but the study was ended early.
