Sound waves and immune boost: new combo attack on tough melanoma
NCT ID NCT06472661
Summary
This early study is testing whether combining two experimental treatments can help control advanced melanoma. Eleven patients receiving immunotherapy before surgery will get focused ultrasound to heat and destroy tumor tissue, followed by an injection of an immune-stimulating drug directly into the tumor. Researchers want to see if this combination is safe and how it affects the tumor and surrounding tissue.
