Summary

This study explores why some people with depression don't get better with standard treatments. Researchers will use low-intensity focused ultrasound to temporarily change activity in specific brain connections in 140 adults with treatment-resistant depression. The goal is to see how these brain changes affect symptoms like loss of pleasure and repetitive negative thinking, which could lead to better treatments in the future.
