First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain works under different levels of anesthesia using two common drugs. Researchers will use low-intensity focused ultrasound to stimulate specific brain areas while taking detailed brain scans. The goal is to better understand mental function during anesthesia and see if ultrasound can help people wake up faster. The study involves 168 healthy adults.
