New study aims to predict Crohn's treatment success with simple scans and blood work

NCT ID NCT07246460

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to monitor how well a Crohn's disease drug (guselkumab) is working. Researchers will follow 90 adult patients for a year, using intestinal ultrasounds and blood tests to look for patterns linked to treatment success. The goal is to see if these non-invasive methods can reliably show when the drug is controlling the disease, potentially reducing the need for frequent colonoscopies.
