New bladder cancer test aims for more accurate Pre-Surgery staging

Summary
This study is testing a new method to determine how deep bladder cancer has spread before a patient undergoes major surgery to remove the bladder. Researchers will use an ultrasound to guide a small needle to take a tissue sample from the bladder tumor. They will compare the results from this new biopsy method to the final analysis of the surgically removed bladder to see if it accurately predicts the cancer's stage.
