Can a simple scan predict falls in diabetic patients?
NCT ID NCT06778005
Summary
This study aims to see if ultrasound measurements of leg nerves can help predict walking and balance problems in people with type 2 diabetes and nerve damage. Researchers will compare 69 patients with diabetic nerve damage to 17 healthy volunteers. They will use ultrasound scans and balance tests to look for connections between nerve structure and physical function.
