Summary
This study looked at whether a tool called the 'Tübingen Ultrasound Ruler' helps surgeons remove breast cancer completely during the first surgery. The study involved 273 women with breast cancer who had breast-conserving surgery. The goal was to see if using ultrasound during surgery reduces the chance of needing a second operation to remove leftover cancer.
