New Pocket-Sized lung tester put to the test against hospital machines
NCT ID NCT07447232
Summary
This study is testing whether a new, handheld ultrasonic device can measure lung function as accurately as the larger, standard machines used in hospitals. About 100 adults with chronic lung conditions like COPD or asthma will perform breathing tests using both devices. The goal is to see if the smaller, more convenient device could be used for reliable monitoring in clinics or even at home.
