First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
About 13 in 1,000 children are born with heart disease, but current tools struggle to assess how well the heart fills with blood. This study will test a new ultrafast ultrasound technique in 300 children to measure heart stiffness and blood flow. The goal is to improve diagnosis and treatment for children with congenital heart disease.
