Can ditching junk food for 6 weeks fix your arteries?

NCT ID NCT05628350

Summary

This small study tested whether reducing ultra-processed foods (like packaged snacks and ready meals) for 6 weeks could improve blood vessel function in 17 middle-aged adults. The goal was to see if this dietary change could be a way to lower heart disease risk. Researchers also checked for changes in gut bacteria and inflammation to understand how diet might affect heart health.
