Scientists test how junk food messes with your brain and hunger
NCT ID NCT06518863
Summary
This study aimed to understand how eating ultra-processed foods affects the body's hunger signals and a person's ability to think clearly. Twenty healthy adults tried two different diets—one entirely ultra-processed and one entirely unprocessed—for a few days each. Researchers measured changes in their blood hormones and gave them tests to check their focus and decision-making skills.
