Scientists test how junk food messes with your brain and hunger

NCT ID NCT06518863

Summary

This study aimed to understand how eating ultra-processed foods affects hunger hormones and mental focus. Twenty healthy adults tried two different diets for a few days each: one made entirely of ultra-processed foods and another of unprocessed foods. Researchers measured changes in their blood hormones and tested their thinking skills to see if the diet made a difference.
