Summary
This study looked at how eating ultra-processed foods (like packaged snacks and sugary drinks) affects hunger-related hormones and thinking skills. Twenty adults ate only ultra-processed foods for 3 days and only unprocessed foods for another 3 days. Researchers measured hormones like ghrelin and tested mental function to see how diet impacts the body and brain.
