New drug trial targets rare blood cancers in adults and teens

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug ulixertinib can safely control rare blood cancers called histiocytic neoplasms. Researchers will enroll 38 patients aged 12 and older whose cancer has continued to grow despite previous treatments. The trial focuses on patients whose cancers have specific genetic mutations and will measure how well the drug shrinks tumors.
